An holistic therapy to rebalance, relax and restore
Using touch to apply pressure to the feet, face or hands, reflexology is a complementary therapy that encourages the body to rebalance and heal itself.
Reflexology is holistic and based on the theory that mind, body and spirit are all connected.
Treatments are designed to be relaxing, to reduce stress and therefore help the body to restore itself.
Based on similar practices throughout the centuries modern reflexology was developed in the 1930s and is now widely practiced around the world, in the relief of a wide range of conditions. The NHS provides a list of reflexologists who have the appropriate training and qualifications and who are accredited by their professional associations.
Managing multiple roles and responsibilities, takes resilience.
It is important to make time to take care of yourself. Only then will you be the best you can possibly be – for yourself and for those around you.
Just an hour away from normal life, spent relaxing in a comfortable environment, you will find the soothing reflexology treatment provides you with the space you need to recharge and breathe.

how many treatments will I need?
Everyone’s needs are different and an individual’s response to Reflexology will also differ. The first session will always include a consultation during which we will discuss what you hope to achieve from reflexology.
Regular weekly or bi-weekly treatments are best for the body to begin the process of self-healing and often benefits can be seen after 4 or 5.
Some people choose to have Reflexology on a monthly or ad hoc basis to maintain their general wellbeing or to de-stress.
what happens in a treatment?
Reflexology should induce a sense of calm and clients should feel relaxed. The entire experience of your visit is focused on achieving this. At the initial appointment we will discuss your health and your expectations. During the treatment you will recline on a couch supported by pillows and covered with a soft blanket to keep you warm.
If you choose foot reflexology you will remove your shoes and socks and after gently cleansing your feet, I will apply a wax, which is 100% natural and formulated specifically for reflexology.
For facial reflexology I use Zone Face Lift Facial Elixir, specially formulated for facial reflexology, infused with Amethyst Crystal. Facial reflexology works in a similar way and works the reflexes on your face in a combination of slow strokes and pressure.
For new clients, I will always send a follow up text a day or two after the first treatment. This is an opportunity for me to check in on how you are feeling and for you to provide feedback to me on your experience.
does reflexology hurt?
You might find some areas feel sensitive to the touch, but Reflexology does not involve hard pressing in the way something like a sports massage might. As a therapist I will be aware of the status of your feet, noticing how they feel, the temperature and colour. All these things play a part in understanding which areas of your body - as reflected through your feet - require a bit more care and attention.
And don’t worry. Reflexology doesn’t tickle! Many clients are worried about their feet being touched, but find they can easily relax and enjoy the benefits of Reflexology.
can you diagnose my health problems?
Reflexologists cannot claim to diagnose or cure, but during a treatment we get 'feedback' as to which parts of the body are working well and which are not. Sometimes Reflexology will highlight a specific area which is struggling or working hard to maintain your wellbeing; if a particular reflex point shows this kind of reaction I'll discuss it with you at the end of the session.
can I have reflexology when I am pregnant?
Reflexology is wonderfully relaxing and ideal for pregnant women. I have been trained in maternity reflexology as part of my advanced professional development. There are specialist techniques for all stages of the pregnancy journey and these can be particularly helpful for women experiencing symptoms of morning sickness, indigestion, swollen ankles and pelvic girdle pain. I am happy to discuss your needs and would encourage mums-to-be to get in touch.
This is what Emily said after I treated her in her third trimester:
"I'm so glad I found Tracy for pregnancy reflexology. She is amazing - kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and her treatments are magic. Having felt completely exhausted in my last trimester, I look forward to these sessions knowing I'll feel relaxed afterwards and always sleep so well. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Tracy!"
what are your fees?
A Reflexology treatment costs £60 per session. Each session lasts around 50 minutes – with the initial session taking a little longer as we will discuss your current health and wellbeing and answer any questions you may have.
If you are unsure whether reflexology is for you, or time is short, why not try a taster session of 30 minutes for £30.
A combination treatment of both foot and facial reflexology costs £85 and lasts around 90 minutes. Bliss!
A deposit of 50% is required in advance in order to confirm your booking. I accept cash or bank transfer.
Life happens and sometimes you will need to cancel an appointment. I will be happy to reschedule but please provide 48 hours notice, otherwise you will need to pay for the session missed.
